aiduke

aiduke clothing research is a Ugandan textile and clothing movement founded by Bobby Kolade in 2020 as a non-profit. Operated through in-kind support from BUZIGAHILL, aiduke collaborates with small-scale textile producers and designers to collectively strengthen skills and infrastructure, aiming to enhance overall textile and garment production in Uganda.

In collaboration with BUZIGAHILL, aiduke is fundraising for the aiduke new life facility: A purpose-built textile processing hub, designed specifically for giving second-hand clothes and textiles a new life through upcycling.

To facilitate access to local and global markets, a permanent retail space and a full-service e-commerce platform for creative Ugandan brands are in the pipeline.

Visit the aiduke container at 32 East, a pop up shop with a vibrant selection of creative designers, including BUZIGAHILL.
