The original logo of a baseball cap is cut out, leaving a raw-edged opening that will fray and evolve with time. The identity of the cap is eliminated, creating space for a new one to emerge. Decorated with metallic eyelets and a triangle patch.
Askari – Kiswahili for police or soldier – also refers to local security guards, whose distinctive uniforms (branded caps, shirts, belted pants, coats and leather boots) we often reference in our collections.
