Bleached unisex scarf of hand-cut T-shirt fringes woven together into a boa-inspired shape, from the RETURN TO SENDER 12 runway, made in Uganda by BUZIGAHILL.
It takes 14 hours to upcycle this unique RETURN TO SENDER scarf at our studio in Kampala.

Localising second-hand clothing is part of the RETURN TO SENDER upcycling philosophy. By hand-cutting the T-shirt into thin strips, the original artwork is rejected and distorted. Each strip is then individually pulled and stretched to become what we call a T-shirt fringe.
