The geographical identity of North American hoodies is distorted using traditional South Sudanese embroidery by the Milaya Project.
The Milaya Project is a non-profit working with women artisans living in Bidi Bidi settlement in Uganda, the world's second largest refugee camp. Bidi Bidi is located 11 hours away from Kampala by bus. All proceeds of the embroidery work return to the women.
