Bracelet made using fragments from watches which are carefully chosen and joined by a watch repairer. Small scratches and patina are a testament to the past lives of each fragment.
Roadside watch repair stalls are a common sight in Kampala. They are inconspicuous centres for repair and upcycling and consist of a wooden table, a bench, simple tools, and a tray with bits and pieces from used watches.
